A quick check in Wiki tells that it is under Chow Tai Fook Enterprise Ltd. owned by Hong Kong billionaire Cheng Yu Tung (鄭裕彤).
But why on earth they want to use 'Chow Tai Fook'? Must they follow the parent company and can't use a more classy name for their jewellery store? I really don't understand, the name is so 'Ah Beng' that can't relate it to the up-market at all. May be it works in Hong Kong, but I doubt the rich people in Malaysia will like the name.
I don't know lah, may be I am not rich enough gua. But if I am, I would rather buy a Tiffany lah...right?

Aiyo....Tiffany could oso be ah beng's name from guai lou's perspective mah....Chow Tai Fook is ok...got chinese smell mah...just dun know why the logo look like some sports shoes brand.....but their jewerly not bad...some r very nice design...
Yeah,same here...this particular shop's name caught my attention too the other day when I was there. My friend and I were wheezing thru the classier boutiques, and then suddenly,we saw this shop. At first, we thought the name was funny, but come to think of it...it does catch a lot of ppl's attention. And you might wanna take a look at their stuffs, which are indeed not bad at all..
Hmm...donno ler...just think that the name doesn't match. When you are buying expensive stuff, you are paying the premium for the brand name more than anything else i.e. design, quality etc.
this brand very keng, you can see it in almost every big mall at China, Beijing / Shanghai / Fuzhou / shenzhen leh...

just imagine that how much powerful he need to survive in china and hk as they havin lot of brand in the country
